Dear Parents,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Rhonda Barlow and I, along with Joan and Lee Fetters, helped found Spring Creek School, in 1991. I have a degree in elementary education and post grad work in early childhood education. I am licensed as a Director of ECE programs, through the state of Colorado. My education and training continues each year, through additional college classes and workshops. I have taught in public elementary schools, owned and operated my own preschool, been a Director for the Children’s Workshop, and since 1991 have been in my present position at Spring Creek School.

Our school’s philosophy and practices reflect our dedication to high quality care and education for young children. The Hersh Core Knowledge Curriculum is used in our preschool, pre kindergarten, and kindergarten classes. We believe that children learn by doing and need small group sizes to receive the necessary attention each child deserves.

Young children need educated, well trained, and caring teachers who will guide them to become independent learners and self confident individuals. We believe that parents are the most significant adults in their child’s life. Through mutual respect and open communication, our staff enjoys a strong partnership with parents, aiding each child to develop physical, social, and emotional skills.

Childhood should be a happy, exciting time of life. A time that allows children opportunities to explore, create, and develop self confidence. Our classrooms offer challenging play and learning choices, allowing children opportunities to experience and learn.....and most importantly to succeed.

We practice positive methods of discipline that help establish consistent, age appropriate limits, to help children function in their world. The physical environment at Spring Creek School is safe, clean, healthy, and child oriented. Our goal is to meet the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs, of each child entrusted to our care.

After exploring our website, please call with any additional questions or to make an appointment for a tour of our campus.
